Henna Art
Monday, May 11 - 10:00-12:00 - Community Center ’t Turfke
Create your own work of art by decorating a candle with delicate henna designs, while enjoying a fresh pot of Moroccan mint tea and delicious treats.
Cultural cooking
May 11 or 12 – see the various times below – Het Perron
In this cooking workshop, we’ll prepare a simple yet delicious recipe from the Hindustani/Surinamese cuisine. Meanwhile, we’ll share stories and traditions. A warm and flavorful meeting!
There are still two dates available to participate in this workshop: Monday, May 11, from 10:30 - 12:00 or Tuesday, May 12, from 13:00 - 14:30.
K-pop dance
Tuesday, May 19 and 26 - 19:00-20:30 - Danceschool Marissa Danst
Learn the dance moves from the music videos of popular K-pop groups. Explore this dance style in relaxed classes, where a great atmosphere and fun are the top priorities!
Moroccan Music Night
Thursday, May 28 – 19:00–21:30 – Spectrum
Let’s wrap up the neighborhood program together with a musical celebration! Led by local singer Cheb Abdelghani, traditional Moroccan songs will fill the air during an evening brimming with energy and unity. Enjoy the music, delicious snacks, cultural workshops and great company!
